Enterprise Supplier Database (ESD) Registration

The Enterprise Supplier Database (ESD) is Makazi Investment Group’s (MIG) supplier register, managed through its Supply Chain Management (SCM) function. It is the official database of companies that MIG’s supply chain management uses to source service providers and to issue invitations to bid for its projects and operations.

How the ESD is used

Once approved, registered enterprises are placed on MIG’s supplier database. When a need arises, Supply Chain Management draws on the ESD to invite suitable companies to bid as service providers for:

• Infrastructure developments: construction, engineering, project management, professional services and the supply of materials and equipment.

• Private equity projects: services supporting MIG’s private equity investments and portfolio companies.

• Property management services: facilities management, maintenance, security, cleaning, leasing support and other property-related services.

Registration places an enterprise on the database for consideration. It does not guarantee appointment, as all bids are evaluated through MIG’s supply chain management process.

Added benefit: Investment Visibility Programme

Registered enterprises also qualify for the MIG B-BBEE CSR / ESG / Corporate Governance Investment Visibility Programme. This gives them a platform to showcase their corporate social responsibility, ESG and corporate governance commitments to MIG, its partners and the wider investment community.

Who should register

Any enterprise that offers professional, technical, construction, supply or support services and wants to be considered for MIG opportunities. Companies register by completing the Enterprise Supplier Database Registration Form (Enterprise Membership) and submitting their business details, services offered, experience and compliance documents.
